The Song of Achilles: A Steampunk Adaptation (2024-2025)

This project is the focus of my third academic year at the School of Visual Arts. Serving as my junior thesis, this adaptation of The Song of Achilles acts as an artist’s interpretation of Madeline Miller’s devastating, beautiful retelling of the Greek hero Achilles. Reimagined in an industrial world chock full of lavish dress and steam-powered weaponry, Achilles and Patroclus navigate a life where the gods are no longer needed.
